About This Event
July 17 through August 2, 2026. For nearly three weeks, the Big White Tent up in Bear Valley village turns into a concert hall at 7,000 feet. The lineup runs the gamut: Tchaikovsky's Fourth and Respighi's Pines of Rome one night, tribute shows for David Bowie, Tom Petty, and ELO the next, plus a Chris Cain blues set and an afternoon of Broadway. About Big White Tent
The Big White Tent is the open-air venue up in Bear Valley where the Bear Valley Music Festival sets up shop each summer, classical orchestra one night, jazz or world music the next. It's an outdoor setting tucked into the rocks and pines, kid-friendly with free parking, and locals know you can scramble up the rocks alongside it and listen in even without a ticket. Worth the drive up the 4 for a concert surrounded by trees instead of a ceiling.
