About This Event
Spend the day making with JJ at Make and parTake in Arnold. Wood crafts, polymer clay, water coloring, lettering, and more. The morning session runs 9:00 to 11:30 and the afternoon session (1:00 to 2:30) features more advanced projects. Sessions are $25 each, with lunch available for $5. About Make and parTake
Make and parTake is in the Big Trees Market complex on Hwy 4, run by Mona, who teaches classes (acrylic pour paint nights, that kind of thing) and stocks supplies for knitting, painting, and drawing. From what I hear, Mona's the whole draw: she'll let a bachelorette party bring snacks to a paint pour, and she'll order in the sketching pencils if she doesn't have what you need. Check their schedule before you go, since classes book up and the shop hours move around.
