About This Event
Poor Man’s Whiskey’s live show and sound are a blend of high octane old time/bluegrass music (often done on traditional acoustic instruments of banjo, guitar, fiddle, and mandolin) and a more psychedelic blues/jam rock style that calls upon their earlier influences such as Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers Band, and the Grateful Dead. Poor Man’s Whiskey seamlessly transitions between acoustic and electric styles with a carefully crafted commitment to well-written songs and stories…while maintaining an exciting element of improvisation and openness to letting a song expand. https://poormanswhiskey.com/ Opening will be Ten Dollar Pony, an indie folk-rock acoustic duo and band featuring original music alongside an eclectic mix of cover tunes. Their sound blends acoustic roots, folk, rock, and a little bit of everything in between. * Please note - Brice Station Tasting Room will close at 5 pm to open the bar for the concert

Where
About Brice Station Vineyards
Brice Station sits on Hwy 4 between Murphys and Avery, a fun place to taste year round: it grows Cabernet, Cab Franc, and Merlot on-site, and the port gets singled out a lot. In summer there's a nice garden for tasting outside; on rainy and winter days you head into a room that feels like a cave. Stuart and his crew are the kind of hosts who'll pull up a chair, and there's a concert and wedding venue on the property too.
