About This Event
The Angels Camp Museum Lecture Series is at Angels Camp Museum in Angels Camp, CA on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 1 PM.
Join us for an informative presentation by Captain Sturm of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office about the important work of the Calaveras County Cold Case Task Force. The Cold Case Task Force assists local law enforcement in solving longstanding cases, including homicides, missing-person cases, and unidentified human remains. With advances in DNA technology and forensic science, cases once considered unsolvable may now have new opportunities for answers. Learn how the Task Force brings together law enforcement, forensic experts, scientists, and community support to pursue new leads and help bring answers, justice, and closure to families in our community. Contact The Angels Camp Museum at 209-736-2963 for more information.

About Angels Camp Museum
The Angels Camp Museum sprawls across 30,000+ square feet down on S Main, with one of the country's biggest carriage and wagon collections out back, plus mining gear, Gold Rush exhibits, and the Mark Twain frog-jumping story that put this town on the map. Good for kids, free parking, and the docents actually know their stuff. Plan on more time than you think.
