About Bear Valley Meadow
Bear Valley Meadow is the snow-play side of the mountain: tubing lanes, room for kids to flop around in their first real snow, and a groomed walk over to a little lunch hut that does a turkey pesto panini people actually rave about. It's good for families and free to park, but the lot fills up on holiday weeks, so come early or plan to wait.

Hermitfest West – Music Festival
FestivalHermitfest West is an annual celebration put on by the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway Association. Held on the first weekend after Labor Day in Bear Valley, this family-friendly event has multiple live music performances as well as art and food vendors. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a High Sierra music festival amongst the trees and stars.
