About White Pines Lake Park
White Pines Lake is the 26-acre lake CCWD took over in 1977 after the old Blagen mill pond went up for grabs, and it's been the corridor's free-recreation hub ever since. There's a playground, sandy beach, volleyball court, disc golf, BBQ pits, and a walking path around the lake; dogs are welcome, parking's free, and the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum sits right on site. Bring a picnic and pack out your trash, because the park committee keeps this place running.
