About ART Trailhead – Valley View Dr.
This is the trailhead to Arnold Rim Trail where various hiking groups meet in Avery. From downtown Avery, grab a fancy breakfast toast from Day-O coffee and head up Sheeps Ranch Road. Take a right on Valley View and you will see trailhead parking. I've hiked Cougar Rock from here, but never with a hiking group, so maybe contact them in advance if you're a first timer.
