About Dorrington Hotel
John Gardner built the Dorrington Hotel in the late 1880s after the original 1852 building burned, and the town is named for his widow, Rebekah Dorrington Gardner, who legend says still hasn't checked out. Today it's small historic lodging (the hotel plus a cottage, up to 12 guests) focused on special events. However, they've recently started having dinners and brunches, but call first. The Lube Room is right next door, so you can walk over after.
