About Hovey Winery
Hovey Winery pours in the historic former home of Albert Michelson on Main Street, known for Tempranillo, Albarino, and Verdelho. Chuck Hovey was a pioneer of the modern Sierra Foothills wine scene; after he passed in 2019, a group of his close friends took it over and kept his vision going. Dogs are welcome, and the staff (ask for Ryan or Sally if they're pouring) has the kind of patience that makes a busy tasting feel unhurried.
